Some of my favorites in the Cambridge, MA area:
- Cleenland (Central Square, Cambridge) has all you need for low-waste home and self-care.
- Cambridge Naturals (Porter Square, Cambridge) has an amazing bulk spice and herb section, as well as many low-waste home and self care alternatives.
- Neighborhood Produce (Magoun Square and Ball Square, Somerville) and Pemberton Farms (Mass Ave, North Cambridge) provide bulk food items that you can put in your own containers.
- Don’t discount your regular shops and grocery stores too quickly! Sometimes (rarely, but sometimes) they actually have better plastic-free options than these specialty stores.
